Bonnie Sunstein<\/strong> is professor of English and education at the University of Iowa, where she teaches essay writing, ethnographic methods, writing theory, and folklore. She has been Director of the Nonfiction Writing Program, Program Chair in English Education, and\u00a0Director of Undergraduate Writing in English.\u00a0 A veteran of New England colleges and public schools, she conducts writing and teaching institutes around the world.\u00a0 Her chapters, articles, and poems appear in journals and anthologies. FieldWorking: Reading and Writing Research<\/em>, is in its fourth edition.\u00a0 Her newest book explores issues in teaching nonfiction. \u00a0Bonnie has received\u00a0awards and grants for\u00a0 excellence in teaching and outreach projects involving teachers, students, and university faculties locally, nationally, and internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
